How to install a LUT in CapCut
CapCut desktop imports .cube LUTs from its Adjustment tab. These steps come from CapCut's own guide; its help center has no LUT article.

- Use the 65-point file. If CapCut won't import it, use the 33-point file.
Import and apply the LUT
Open CapCut desktop, click Create project, click Import to add your video, and drag it to the timeline.Source
Go to the Adjustment tab and select LUT.Source
Click Import and choose the .cube file.Source
Apply the LUT to your clip.Source
Fine-tune with HSL, the color wheel and the color adjustment tools, then click Export.Source
Good to know
- CapCut accepts .cube and .3dl LUT files.Source
- CapCut's pages don't show the exact click that applies an imported LUT, where its intensity slider is, or whether LUT import needs CapCut Pro.
- No official CapCut page describes importing a .cube file in the phone app, so this guide covers the desktop app only.
